HVAC installation
Replacing an aging system or adding heating and cooling to a remodel starts with a look at the home, the existing equipment, and the duct layout. We then put together a written estimate for the system that fits.

HVAC Services for Auburn Homeowners
Auburn sits in the Sierra foothills, where summers run hot and winter nights get cold. Homes here range from older houses near Old Town to newer homes on larger lots, so equipment and duct layouts vary a lot from one property to the next. These are the services we offer in Auburn.
Heating service
Foothill winter nights get cold. We repair and maintain furnaces and heat pumps, and install new furnaces when a repair no longer makes sense.
AC service
Auburn summers are hot, and an air conditioner that quits in July is more than an inconvenience. We handle AC repair, tune-ups, and new air conditioner installation.
Ductwork installation
Many Auburn homes have ducts running beneath the floor or through the attic. We install insulated ductwork as part of new systems and repair existing duct runs, like the under-home installation shown in the video above.

Auburn HVAC Questions
Who provides HVAC installation in Auburn, CA?
American Comfort Heating & Air provides HVAC installation in Auburn, CA. The family-owned company is based in nearby Lincoln, holds California contractor license #1105497, and can be reached at (916) 367-8672 or americancomfortca.com.
What does HVAC ductwork do?
HVAC ductwork carries heated and cooled air from your furnace, heat pump, or air handler to the rooms of your home, and return ducts bring air back to the system. It is the air distribution part of a forced-air heating and cooling system.
When might a home need ductwork replacement?
A home might need ductwork replacement when ducts are damaged, disconnected, crushed, poorly insulated, or no longer suit a new or resized HVAC system. A technician has to inspect the existing ducts first; some problems can be repaired without replacing the whole system.
Can ductwork contribute to uneven heating or cooling?
Yes, ductwork can contribute to uneven heating or cooling, but it is only one possible cause. Equipment size, thermostat location, insulation, windows, and airflow settings can also play a part, so an in-home assessment is the way to find out what is actually happening. New ductwork is not guaranteed to fix every comfort problem.
