Project Overview
This new home on Greyson Creek Drive is still under construction. Our team is installing the HVAC ductwork while the walls and ceilings are open, which is the stage where duct routes are easiest to plan and place. The photos and video on this page document that work in progress; they do not show a finished system.
What the photos show
- Insulated flexible ducts routed above the open ceiling framing and between the joists.
- Two insulated duct runs passing vertically through a framed wall cavity.
- A main duct run following the roof trusses beneath radiant-barrier roof sheathing.
- Sheet-metal duct fittings where runs connect, alongside other trades’ rough-in work such as wiring, lighting housings and fire sprinkler piping.
Getting ductwork placed correctly before drywall helps avoid tight bends, crushed runs and awkward reroutes later. It also makes it easier to keep ducts organized around the framing and the work of other trades.

Planning a New Home or Renovation?
For homeowners and builders, the best time to plan heating, cooling and ductwork is early, while the framing is still open. Duct routes, register locations and equipment placement all affect how comfortable each room feels once the home is finished.
The right system design and equipment depend on the home itself: its size, layout, construction and how it will be used. That is why we start every new construction or renovation job with a project assessment rather than a one-size-fits-all quote. If you are building or remodeling in El Dorado Hills or the surrounding area, our team is happy to talk through your plans.
